Data Analyst

Remote, Contract role, East coast working hours

RedStream Technology is searching for a Data Analyst to work with our client to focus on data management, dashboard creation/ maintenance and ad-hoc reporting.

Daily responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data-driven tools and reporting that are accessible and reusable within Operations and align with team priorities and department goals such as efficiency and automation.
• Ensure that Operations teams' strategic decisions and roadmaps are well-informed by data insights.
• Serve as an expert on relevant Operations systems and tools.
• Develop and lead training initiatives related to Operations tools and reporting to ensure smooth implementation and use.
• Apply best practices in various analytical methods and continuously self-educate on leading practices in operational areas, e.g. customer insights.
• Measure process improvements, costs, and productivity for the Operations group to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of Operations leads and users to build accurate requirements and objectives.
• Provide creativity, thought partnership and proactively share data-driven insights to relevant Firm leaders, leveraging Operations data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Experience & Background

• Bachelors or Masters in a quantitative field
• 4+ years of professional experience in applied analytics or research
• Understanding of the digital product lifecycle
