Part-Time Writer/Editor Business Content
Remote, Contract role, East Coast Hours
RedStream Technology is recruiting for a part-time Writer/Editor to work with one of our corporate clients writing case studies.
Responsibilities:
Case study reporting and writing:
- Interview colleagues to develop case study drafts
- Fact-checking and syndication of drafts with relevant stakeholders
Project coordination:
- Support teams on identifying and nominating client case studies, including administrative support on presentation materials
- Coordinate end-to-end case study development, from managing the pipeline and approvals to syndication and publication
Case Study app support:
- Gather, review, and prioritize weekly participant feedback of the app for Writer team
- Support testing and ongoing refinement of the app’s functionality
- Edit drafts produced by the app and work with colleagues on relevant edits
Required skills:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in writing, communications, and/or content creation
- Excellent skillset across content and communications (e.g., external/internal comms, journalism, media relations, events, executive comms)
- A background in journalism is preferred
- Motivated and mature individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to take initiative and proactive approach
- Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurship and innovation; with a willingness to learn a new functional area
- Demonstrated project management experience and a proven ability to get things done quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful experience operating at the top of organizations with regular exposure to senior decisionmakers internally and externally
