Data Scientist

RedStream Technology is recruiting a Data Scientist to work with our client with a focus on building AI and large language models (LLMs), working with tools like OpenAI and ChatGPT, and applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to improve internal knowledge management systems.

Objectives:

• Develop and refine AI/LLM models to summarize information effectively.
• Enhance the functionality and performance of McKinsey’s RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Models, which pull internal knowledge for GenAI solutions.
• Analyze and address underlying issues within existing knowledge systems to optimize how knowledge is formatted and accessed.
• Create systems or models to identify knowledge gaps and recommend updates to improve the utility and quality of internal knowledge documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the current state of internal knowledge formatting and identify areas for improvement.
• Design models and processes to inform internal practices on how to maintain and update documents to maximize their usability across the firm.
• Collaborate closely with the Knowledge Management Function to align AI models with evolving business needs.

Technical Requirements

• AI Expertise: Experience building and fine-tuning AI/LLM models.
• Tools: Proficiency with OpenAI, ChatGPT, and NLP technologies.
• Knowledge Management: Familiarity with RAG models and addressing data-related inefficiencies.
