Contract role on-site in Northern New Jersey
RedStream Technology is searching for a Digital Operations Supervisor to support a leading entertainment company’s live streaming digital operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing the real-time delivery and quality of live content streamed across various devices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading incident management during live broadcasts, coordinating with vendors, and addressing client and viewer issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor live broadcasts across digital platforms to ensure optimal quality and performance standards.
- Lead incident management activities including issue detection, triage, mitigation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide direct support to operational teams and stakeholders during live events, ensuring all digital access issues are resolved swiftly.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation such as runbooks, and manage scheduling and supervision of contract staff.
- Utilize analytics tools to generate insightful reports on viewer engagement and platform performance during live events.
- Conduct quality assurance for live streams and execute necessary manual interventions to mitigate any disruptions.
- Research and integrate new digital technologies to enhance live viewing experiences.
- Engage with fan communities online, monitoring and reporting on feedback to enhance user experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven experience in digital media operations, preferably in an entertainment environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in a high-pressure, live broadcast environment.
- Experience with digital analytics and visualization tools (Adobe, Tableau, etc.).
- Competent in using incident management and customer support tools (Jira, ServiceNow, OpsGenie, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital operations role within media, or entertainment sectors.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and potentially holidays.
